The Brookings-Harbor Education Association would like to politely encourage its membership, and all Curry County citizens, to contact your Representatives to let them know how important education funding is to YOU! At present, the state may be looking at serious cuts across all of Oregon. In the Fireside Chat events arranged and hosted by BHSD17c Superintendent Sean Gallagher and BHHS Vice-Principal Alex Merritt, we were able to see the details of what these budget cuts could look like, and we do not believe those cuts will be good for our students.
Please consider contacting your local representatives to tell them how you feel about the importance of funding education. You may consider calling instead if you have time, or try both! Let them know how much this matters!
